Welcome to Your Online Student Handbook

This Student Handbook is an official publication of Washington Adventist University. It provides information regarding campus life, policies, and regulations not related to academics.

Every reasonable effort has been made to present factually accurate information. However, the provisions of this Handbook are not to be regarded as an irrevocable contract between the university and the student.

The contents of this Handbook are subject to change through normal administrative channels.

Revisions are publicized by appropriate means each school year.

Any regulations adopted during the school year and announced to the students have the same force as if they were published in this Handbook.

The university reviews periodically its policies and procedures on an annual basis. 

Students should also refer to the Academic Catalog for information regarding acdemic requirements for degree completion, regulations and polices, etc… regarding a students academic life on campus.  You can access the Academic Catalog by selecting the 2025-2026 Academic Catalog in the dropdown menu located above the icons at the top right corner of the page.

Create Your Own Personal Favorites

The My Favorites feature allows you to save information in your own personal folder so you can go directly to it! 

Note: Shared computers will reflect favorite pages of anyone who favorited a page, it is not person specific.

1. While navigating in the catalog you can click on the favorites icon on the top right of the page if you wish to favorite the page
2. Click on “My Favorites” link at the bottom of the left navigation bar
3. The next time you go to your favorites, your saved material will be there!

Printing Sections

If you would like to print a specific section

1. Click on the printer icon at the top right of the page
2. A new window will pop up
3. Click on “Print this Page” link at the top right side of pop up window

Three ways to locate information

1. Type what you are looking for in the “Catalog Search” box, located at the top left of this page.
2. Click on “Advanced Search” to look for specific courses and/or programs.
3. Choose from the navigation bar along the left side of the page.
