BDA 450 - Business Data Warehousing and Data Mining Credits: 3 When Offered: Fall Course Level: Upper Division Prerequisite(s): BDA 304 This course is a study in the theories and applications of data warehousing and data mining with particular focus on the concepts, skills, methodologies and models used to analyze data housed in the organization’s data warehousing repositories. Data mining is the process by which information stored in an enterprise data warehouse is analyzed to identify patterns that may provide insights into the performance of keys functions of the organization. Topics to be covered include retail, inventory and order management warehousing, CRM, human resources and accounting data warehouses, Clickstream and web traffic data warehousing, data mining concepts and techniques.
