This course introduces the business major to the importance of big data in the business environment and how essential it is for the business student to have a sound understanding and appreciation for how the analysis and communication of such data can inform decision makers. The course will emphasize the use of Excel, Tableau and other appropriate software to perform data mining, analysis, visualization and reporting
