BUAD 376 - Business Law II

Prerequisite(s): BUAD 375 with a grade of “C” or higher; ENGL 101, ENGL 102 and COMM 105 or ENGL 101H and ENGL 102 with a minimum grade of “C.”

Exploration of the legal environment of business with an emphasis on business transactions and legal relationships. Topics include agency, partnership, corporations, securities regulation, bankruptcy, negotiable instruments and employment law.

Note: Second semester of a two-semester sequence. This course requires the first semester course be taken prior to registering.
