The minor in accounting enables the student to develop considerable expertise in accounting without all of the requirements of a major. This minor is open to students majoring in business administration with the addition of six hours beyond the total required for the minor.

Minor Requirements (18 Credits)

ACCT 211 - Principles of Accounting I Credits: 3
ACCT 212 - Principles of Accounting II Credits: 3
Note: If an accounting minor is taken in conjunction with a business administration degree, 6 additional hours of accounting electives approved by the advisor must be chosen in place of ACCT 211 ; ACCT 212 .
ACCT 301 - Intermediate Accounting I Credits: 3
ACCT 302 - Intermediate Accounting II Credits: 3
ACCT 321 - Income Tax I Credits: 3
ACCT - Upper-division accounting electives Credits: 3
