The Portuguese minor is designed to provide interested students with advanced ability in listening, speaking and writing Portuguese. It requires a minimum of 18 hours beyond the Elementary Portuguese level.
At least nine hours must be at the upper-division level. ALL courses for the minor in Portuguese must be taken through ACA at Bahia Adventist College (FADBA), Brazil.
Within these parameters, students minoring in Portuguese are allowed the flexibility of choosing their program of study from the various courses listed in the ACA Catalog. Please see the ACA program director in the Honors College for a copy of the ACA Catalog.

Minor Requirements (18 Credits)
At least nine credits must be upper-division. All credits must be taken through ACA. Note: Upon arrival at the overseas campus, students will take a placement test. Students receiving low placement test scores may be required to take beginning courses below the PORT 251 level. These would not count toward the minor. |
