It is recommended that students obtain information from pharmacy programs for their specific admission requirements, as variations exist in the prerequisites of pharmacy schools. Most schools require a bachelor’s degree, in addition to specific courses, and the PCAT. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. However, in order to be competitive, and apply to pharmacy schools, a GPA of 3.3 or higher is recommended.
Pre-pharmacy students are encouraged to consult on a regular basis with WAU’s pre-pharmacy coordinator.
