MATH 115 - Survey of Mathematics

Prerequisite(s): MATH 052, placement test or SAT/ACT above 34th percentile.

This is a general course especially suited for students seeking a basic understanding of mathematics topics that include introduction to problem-solving, sets, functions, logic, numeration systems, Real number system, consumer mathematics, geometry, the metric system and an introduction to computers.

Note: Credit for this course does not apply toward a major in mathematics or science.
