Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Honors College or special permission from the instructor.

This hybrid course provides an orientation to the activities of the United Nations, as well as providing an understanding of the processes of international relations and international diplomacy. Students will learn about the structure and format of Model United Nations (MUN) and engage in simulations throughout the semester. Through these academic simulations, students will gain valuable skills in research and writing, public speaking, negotiation and powers of persuasion, analysis and argument, organization, and leadership and service development.
