CHEM 422 - Physical Chemistry II

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 421; ENGL 101, ENGL 102 and COMM 105 or ENGL 101H and ENGL 102 with a minimum grade of “C.”

Corequisite(s): MATH 252 and PHYS 271 .
This is a continuation of CHEM 421 . The second semester (CHEM 422) focuses on quantum chemistry and molecular spectroscopy. The laboratory component of the course will provide students with an opportunity to learn modern physical measurement and computational techniques.

Note: Second semester of a two-semester sequence. This course requires the first semester course be taken prior to registering.
