Identifies the basic concepts and procedures underlying public financial reporting and analysis. Students explore the impacts of alternatives available within generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting strategies. Students further examine means of executive-level financial control and performance measurement. Investing, access to financial markets and maintaining the financial health of the organization are also addressed.
