This is a continuous award for the length of the student’s academic program that will not exceed four years unless the student’s program length is five years. This award can only be applied toward the first degree.
All students (new, transfer and returning) who are enrolled in the traditional undergraduate program are eligible to receive this award provided they are accepted into a degree seeking/matriculating program.
Students of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies program are not eligible.
Verification letter
Before a CUC scholarship is awarded, WAU will need to verify with the conference that the student is a member of that conference. A verification form must be completed and returned to the Financial Aid Office by August 15 for the Fall 2025 semester and December 12 for Spring the semester respectively. If at any point your status within the conference changes, you must advise the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible. WAU reserves the right to verify with the conference periodically the student’s membership status.
With the acceptance of this award, the student agrees to forfeit any other institutional scholarships or grants including but not limited to:
- Academic scholarships
- Athletic scholarships
- Music scholarships
- International scholarships
- Student Association scholarships
However, students who have siblings attending WAU may still receive the sibling discount. Each sibling must complete the verification form to be eligible.
Students who participate in the Adventist Colleges Abroad program are not eligible for this award during the time they are studying abroad.
Students are still eligible to receive state scholarships and federal aid based on state and federal requirements.
