The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) award is a federally sponsored program.
The award provides additional grant money to a full-time undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need.
A student must complete the FAFSA form, have a valid SAI, and be eligible for Pell to be awarded SEOG. However, due to limited funds, not every student may receive an SEOG award. Pell-eligible students with a -$1,500 SAI are awarded FSEOG funds first, with the remainder allocation awarded to Pell students with an SAI above -$1,500.
WAU provides the following FSEOG funds to students based on grade level:
